Deck overview

This mono-black deck uses Ghoulcaller Gisa to turn tall creatures into a wide army of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The strategy deploys early Zombie synergy pieces and mana rocks, casts Gisa on Turn 5, and activates her ability on Turn 6 to double creature power into board presence. Anthem lords like Death Baron, Lord of the Undead, and Undead Warchief grant combat evasion and high damage, while aristocrats like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain opponents directly. Card draw engines like Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Graveborn Muse maintain hand size through attrition. Although the deck lacks artifact removal and instant-speed stack protection for Gisa, it delivers strong combat pressure and resilient graveyard recursion.
