Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Food Stax Combo list helmed by Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit. The primary game plan deploys early asymmetric stax pieces and fast mana to control the pace of the table, while utilizing the commanders to accumulate Food tokens and trigger Ring temptations for steady card advantage. The deck aims to assemble a compact two-card infinite loop using Peregrin Took and Experimental Confectioner. Sacrificing three Food tokens to Peregrin Took triggers Experimental Confectioner to generate three 1/1 Rat tokens, which Peregrin Took replaces with three Rats and three new Food tokens alongside drawing a card. This loop draws the entire library, generates infinite Rat tokens and Food tokens, and enables a same-turn win by casting aristocrat drain outlets like Marionette Apprentice or Mirkwood Bats with fast mana. Dense creature tutors, silence effects like Voice of Victory and Silence, and hatebears ensure reliable, protected execution on Turn 4.
