Deck overview

This Esper deck centers on Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, turning inexpensive discard actions into immediate board presence. Cast on Turn 2, Hashaton turns any creature discard into a 4/4 black Zombie token copy for {2}{U}. The deck maximizes this trigger with roughly 17 low-cost discard outlets, such as Putrid Imp, Tireless Tribe, and Psychic Frog, alongside 26 formidable creature payoffs. Cheating out threats like Toxrill, the Corrosive, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Archon of Cruelty by Turn 4 immediately suppresses opposing boards and depletes resources. Because the deck packs massive redundancy instead of traditional tutors, its draws are remarkably reliable. While it lacks heavy instant-speed protection and takes a few combat turns to clear 120 opposing life, its ability to bypass high mana costs ensures overwhelming pressure in typical multiplayer games.
