Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Artifact Midrange strategy centered on Iron Man, Titan of Innovation. Iron Man acts as a repeatable Birthing Pod on a stick for artifacts, utilizing native haste and flying to attack immediately upon entering the battlefield. Each attack produces a Treasure token and converts noncreature artifacts into increasingly powerful utility pieces, defensive equipment, and game-ending finishers. The deck scales its damage output using high-impact equipment like Commander's Plate, Fireshrieker, and Aettir and Priwen, while utilizing Ugin's Nexus to chain into extra turns. A robust suite of counterspells and tutorable protective equipment safeguards Iron Man during combat steps. If the commander is removed, redundant value engines like Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Daretti, Rocketeer Engineer, and Cyberdrive Awakener provide resilient go-wide and recursion backup plans.
