Deck overview

This mono-red tribal deck leverages Lathliss, Dragon Queen to turn expensive Dragon spells into an overwhelming, wide airborne army. Powered by an explosive fast mana suite—including Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mox Opal, and Sol Ring alongside cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator—the deck reliably accelerates into its commander by Turn 4. Once Lathliss enters play, every subsequent nontoken Dragon creates a 5/5 flying Dragon token. These entries trigger devastating burn effects from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest, delivering burst damage before turning into lethal combat swings buffed by firebreathing or Fiery Emancipation. High threat redundancy allows the deck to close games even without its commander, though its heavy battlefield footprint requires careful navigation around board sweepers using protection pieces like Deflecting Swat.
