Format: Commander

Commander: Helga, Skittish Seer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Helga, Skittish Seer is a Bant creature-combo deck that accelerates into expensive creatures, uses Helga's mana to chain 4+ mana creatures, and wins through infinite loops or a Craterhoof alpha strike. The deck has a strong flash/instant-speed component, letting it act on opponents' turns while developing. Secondary paths include value beats with Elesh Norn and Surrak and Goreclaw, plus a small blink/untap engine. The commander is the primary mana engine and draw source, but the deck can still function through tutors and value creatures if she is removed. The hidden commander is Chulane, Teller of Tales, who provides a second draw engine and creature-bounce loop.
