Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-Black Aristocrats Voltron strategy commanded by Super Shredder. The game plan exploits the commander's ability to gain a +1/+1 counter whenever any permanent leaves the battlefield. By deploying cheap sacrifice fodder and casting symmetric edicts like Fleshbag Marauder, Sheoldred's Edict, and Invoke Despair, the deck simultaneously clears opposing boards and accelerates Super Shredder to lethal commander damage thresholds. Powerful equipment such as Commander's Plate and Dragonfire Blade provide vital protection and evasion. High-impact attrition pieces like Braids, Arisen Nightmare, Vein Ripper, and The Meathook Massacre drain opponents while keeping life totals high. If the commander is disrupted, The Ozolith preserves accumulated counters while alternate threats like Maha, Its Feathers Night and Rise of the Dark Realms provide robust backup win conditions.
