Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive, synergistic mono-white toughness-matters build commanded by Ghalta the Immovable. The strategy focuses on curving out with high-toughness defender creatures such as Wall of Omens, Wall of Junk, and Crystal Barricade during the opening turns. These sturdy blockers serve a dual purpose: they wall off early aggression and dramatically discount the casting cost of Ghalta the Immovable. Once Ghalta enters the battlefield, its static abilities allow defenders to attack and assign combat damage equal to their toughness, instantly transforming cheap walls into massive offensive threats. The deck leverages asymmetric board wipes like Wave of Reckoning and Destined Confrontation, which destroy opposing high-power creatures while leaving your 0-power defenders completely unharmed. Supported by token generation from Wingmantle Chaplain, resilient protection spells like Flawless Maneuver, and late-game evasion via Akroma's Memorial, the deck maintains steady combat pressure to eliminate opponents across a reliable mid-game clock.
