Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages the partner pairing of Madame Vastra and Jenny Flint to establish a controlling midrange strategy centered on deathtouch combat and artifact token generation. By attaching deathtouch equipment such as Basilisk Collar or Gorgon's Head to Madame Vastra, her lure ability and cheap fight spells like Animist's Might turn into lethal board wipes against opposing creatures. Each destroyed creature produces Clue and Food tokens, which trigger Jenny Flint, Tarrian's Soulcleaver, and Academy Manufactor to rapidly grow your commanders into massive threats. The deck utilizes a specialized tutor curve with Trinket Mage, Tribute Mage, and Trophy Mage to access key tools on demand. Lethal combat damage is distributed across the table using Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Two-Handed Axe, and Nettlecyst, while layered counterspells and hexproof equipment keep the engine protected.
