Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal aggro deck helmed by Edgar Markov, built to exploit his Eminence ability - every Vampire spell cast creates a free 1/1 token whether Edgar sits in the command zone or on the battlefield. The deck goes wide fast, then leverages that board with lords like Legion Lieutenant and Radiant Destiny, plus a dense life-drain package (Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, Marauding Blight-Priest) that turns every attack and every death into table-wide damage. The primary win is combat damage from a swarm backed by drain triggers; the secondary, faster line is the Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood infinite loop, which the deck's two tutors can assemble. Edgar himself is a haste beater who pumps the team on attack, but the engine runs from the command zone regardless.
