Tetsuo, Imperial Champion

Format: Commander

Commander: Tetsuo, Imperial Champion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tetsuo, Imperial Champion leads a Grixis Equipment-aggro deck that leverages attack triggers to control the board, cheat mana, and chain extra combats. When Tetsuo attacks while equipped, he either burns any target based on the highest mana value among attached gear or casts an instant or sorcery from hand for free. The deck equips Tetsuo with lethal swords, grants evasion, and repeatedly triggers his ability through multiple combat steps using spells like Seize the Day, Relentless Assault, and creatures like Godo, Bandit Warlord and Karlach, Fury of Avernus. Fast lethality also stems from sudden infect bursts via Tainted Strike combined with Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar.
