Deck overview

This deck is a high-power casual Simic stompy build led by Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep. The deck accelerates mana in turns 1 to 3 using land ramp and explosive dorks like Fanatic of Rhonas and Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea. On Turn 4, it casts Kiora, followed on Turn 5 by massive Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. Each sea monster cast from hand triggers Kiora to look at the top X cards and cast another high-impact spell for free, effectively doubling the deck's board presence every turn. High-end threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Spawning Kraken, and Hullbreaker Horror provide overwhelming board dominance and built-in protection. The deck breaks parity through asymmetric board wipes like Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets, while granting evasion through Serpent of Yawning Depths and Garruk's Uprising to eliminate all opponents via massive combat damage by Turn 7.
