Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis kindred aggro-midrange strategy commanded by Loki, the Deceiver. The primary game plan focuses on curving out with synergistic Villain creatures during the early turns, casting Loki on turn 4, and attacking on turn 5. When Loki attacks, he creates a temporary nonlegendary token copy of an attacking Villain, doubling powerful enters-the-battlefield, attack, and combat damage triggers. Because Loki draws a card whenever one or more Villains deal combat damage to a player, spreading attacks across multiple opponents refills your hand with 2 to 3 cards every turn cycle. The deck leverages connive mechanics, reanimation spells like Victimize and Bloodline Bidding, and massive kindred finishers like The Squadron Sinister and Raise the Palisade to close out the game through overwhelming combat damage by turn 7.
