Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal strategy helmed by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying efficient Zombie creatures, utilizing Gisa to convert high-power creatures into exponential 2/2 Zombie tokens, and buffing the horde with tribal lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief. Asymmetric control pieces like Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet suppress opposing creature boards, while aristocrat drain effects from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead provide non-combat reach. The deck excels at grinding value through extensive graveyard recursion and token multiplication, but it is inherently vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacks instant-speed stack interaction or artifact removal.
