Deck overview

This is a Grixis "amass" deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord, built around growing a single enormous Army token and converting it into a one-shot kill. The commander is both the deck's engine and its payoff: every opponent spell amasses Orcs, and every Ring temptation lets you discard your hand to draw four, turning the Army's combat damage into a massive card-advantage loop. The primary win is a giant trampling Army amplified by Isengard Unleashed (triple damage) or Assault on Osgiliath (amass X with double strike and haste). Secondary paths include legendary-creature beatdown from Sauron, Lord of the Rings and The Balrog of Moria, plus incidental reanimation. The deck is a midrange value grinder that snowballs through the Ring mechanic rather than assembling a fast combo.
