Deck overview

This Genku, Future Shaper deck operates as an Azorius midrange strategy that merges blink synergy with wide token beatdown. The primary game plan revolves around casting Genku alongside repeatable flicker engines like Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Brago, King Eternal. Whenever nontoken creatures or permanents leave the battlefield, Genku creates a versatile board of 2/2 Fox, 1/2 flying Moonfolk, and 1/1 lifelink Rat tokens while triggering enter-the-battlefield card draw engines like Mulldrifter and Spirited Companion. As the token swarm expands, the deck scales threat output using anthems such as Cathars' Crusade, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, Flowering of the White Tree, or Genku's own repeatable team pump ability. Efficient countermagic, instant-speed blink spells, and Flare of Fortitude protect critical pieces against opposing removal. The deck finishes games through overwhelming aerial and ground combat, culminating in decisive alpha strikes powered by Moonshaker Cavalry or stacked counter buffs.
