Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Bad Gifts and Group Slug strategy built around Blim, Comedic Genius. The game plan revolves around casting detrimental permanents—such as Steel Golem, Demonic Lore, Aggressive Mining, and Demonic Pact—and donating them to opponents via Blim's combat damage trigger. Once an opponent controls cards they don't own, Blim taxes their life total and empties their hand on every hit. The deck supplements this strategy with discard-punishing engines like Waste Not and Geth's Grimoire, along with alternate donation outlets including Bazaar Trader and Harmless Offering. While highly disruptive and capable of locking individual players out of creature casting or mana progression, the deck's primary kill is sequential and heavily reliant on connecting with Blim in combat, making evasion, protection, and board interaction critical to navigating the mid-to-late game toward a turn 8 conclusion.
