Oloro Complete by Barbatos_Slim

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Esper "Lifegain Shenanigans" deck uses Oloro, Ageless Ascetic as a passive value engine that generates life from the command zone each turn while providing a repeatable draw payoff when on the battlefield. The primary gameplan is to establish incremental life advantage, deploy oppressive stax and tax pieces (Drannith Magistrate, Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV), then convert that life advantage into an infinite drain loop. The core win condition pairs Exquisite Blood with any one of four interchangeable payoff pieces (Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Bloodthirsty Conqueror, Enduring Tenacity). A dense control shell of premium countermagic, asymmetrical card draw engines (Rhystic Study, Consecrated Sphinx, Esper Sentinel), and a compact tutor suite ensures the combo can be assembled and protected. Secondary paths include overwhelming combat from Serra Ascendant/Archangel of Thune or a massive Exsanguinate.
