Tramplesaurus Rex (Foundations Commander Precon Decklist) by rezendezzz

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghalta, Primal Hunger

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 33

Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy centered around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It leverages undercosted, high-stat creatures such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Regal Imperiosaur to rapidly amass 10 or more power on the battlefield by turn 4. This enables casting Ghalta from the command zone for its minimum cost of {G}{G}. Once deployed, the deck converts massive power into continuous card draw through enchantments like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond, and explosive mana through Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. Combat pressure escalates on turn 5, where Ghalta's 12/12 trample body threatens lethal commander damage. Finishers like Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and The Skullspore Nexus multiply damage to close the game across turns 6 and 7. While vulnerable to early board wipes and lacking stack interaction, the deck maintains high threat density and straightforward combat lethality.
