Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact aristocrats and reanimator strategy commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord. It focuses on moving artifact creatures into and out of the graveyard to generate large swarms of 2/2 black Necron Warrior artifact creature tokens. Mana ramp pieces like Sol Ring, Charcoal Diamond, and Illuminor Szeras accelerate deployment of Imotekh on Turn 3 or 4. From there, repeatable recursion tools like Phyrexian Reclamation, Oversold Cemetery, and Scrap Trawler consistently trigger Imotekh to build a dominating board presence. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide combat damage buffed by Skorpekh Lord and Chief of the Foundry, catastrophic combat triggers from Shard of the Void Dragon, and supplemental life drain via Psychomancer and Exsanguinate. While the deck has high resilience against spot removal through continuous reanimation, it remains susceptible to dedicated graveyard exile and mass artifact sweepers.
