Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure-storm list helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. Smaug enters, mints a pile of tapped Treasures equal to the artifacts sitting across the table, then turns every subsequent Treasure-funded spell into a card (at 1 life apiece). The 99 is built to feed that trigger: cheap rocks and dorks seed tokens, Xorn and Academy Manufactor multiply them, and Dragons plus drain pieces convert the flood into a win. Primary finishes are Dualcaster Mage copy loops with Twinflame, Electroduplicate, or Molten Duplication; alternate-win permanents in Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna; a giant Torment of Hailfire; and combat-plus-drain from Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, and the other Smaugs. Smaug is the command-zone draw engine that glues the fair plan together, not a combo piece - every actual kill condition lives in the 99 and can fire without him.
