Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Treasure Aristocrats build led by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The game plan centers on generating large quantities of Treasure tokens to accelerate mana, draw cards, and burn opponents out. Early turns establish mana rocks and setup permanents like Prosper, Tome-Bound and Enterprising Scallywag. By turn 4, casting Smaug, Wicked Worm capitalizes on opponents' artifact counts to produce immediate Treasure stockpiles and turn Treasure mana into sustained card draw. In the mid-to-late game, the deck converts artifact creation and sacrifices into direct damage through aristocrat payoffs like Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, and Mayhem Devil. Alternate win conditions like Bolas's Citadel and Revel in Riches provide additional high-velocity closing avenues. The interaction suite delivers flexible, low-cost removal for diverse permanent types and efficient sweepers, though it lacks stack interaction.
