Deck overview

This deck is a Boros spellslinger and burn deck commanded by Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot. The game plan revolves around using cheap damage spells and sweepers to control opposing creature boards while drawing cards whenever noncombat damage matches a creature's exact toughness. As the game transitions into the mid-game, the deck ramps into powerful damage doublers and triplers such as Fiery Emancipation, Fiendish Duo, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, or deploys Heartless Hidetsugu. Once an amplifier is established, the deck finishes all opponents simultaneously using massive scaled burn spells like Earthquake, Delete, or an unpreventable Banefire. The list features strong creature control and high redundancy among burn spells, but it relies on untapping with vulnerable creatures and possesses limited protection against non-creature combos.
