Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sheoldred, the Apocalypse leads a mono-black draw-punisher deck that taxes every card an opponent draws while feeding Sheoldred's lifegain. The primary plan is to resolve Sheoldred quickly, add symmetrical draw engines, and convert their draws into damage; the secondary path is an infinite drain loop using Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, or Marauding Blight-Priest. The commander is both engine and loop starter, with a midrange spine of Grave Pact, Phyrexian Obliterator, and Gray Merchant. Tergrid and Sheoldred Whispering One grind value, while Vampiric Tutor and Razaketh assemble the combo. The deck wins with a draw-death spiral or a one-shot life-loss loop.
