Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marchesa, the Black Rose leads a resilient Grixis aristocrats engine built on recurring creatures with plus one plus one counters. The primary game plan establishes an engine using cheap sacrifice outlets, counter distributors like Unspeakable Symbol, and death-trigger payoffs. Creatures gain counters through dethrone or dedicated enablers, die via free sacrifice outlets, and return to the battlefield on every end step. The deck closes games by assembling infinite or iterative drain loops with Zulaport Cutthroat, repeated Flayer of the Hatebound damage, continuous creature theft via Act of Treason effects sacrificed for permanent ownership, or unblockable wide attacks with Herald of Secret Streams.
