Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai artifact-midrange combat strategy built around Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. The core engine deploys low-cost artifact creatures, mana acceleration, and utility pieces in the early turns, establishing a sturdy board state. Casting the commander converted via More Than Meets the Eye on Turn 4 turns Optimus Prime into an immediate 6/8 trampling Vehicle that bolsters your weakest creatures and flips back and forth to continuously distribute +1/+1 counters. The deck leverages heavy artifact synergy through cards like Bronze Guardian, Steel Overseer, and Sai, Master Thopterist, while multiplying combat damage with Uncivil Unrest, True Conviction, and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor. A deep suite of defensive spells—including Dawn's Truce, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Optimus Prime's own built-in reanimation trigger—ensures exceptional resilience against sweepers, allowing the deck to systematically grind down and eliminate opponents through overwhelming combat damage.
