Deck overview

This Bant control deck, commanded by Roon of the Hidden Realm, executes a unique prison strategy designed to manipulate the turn order using Timesifter. By combining topdeck manipulation from cards like Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack with temporary defensive spells that last 'until your next turn'—such as The Stasis Coffin, Lavinia of the Tenth, Chronomantic Escape, and Avatar's Wrath—the deck aims to give opponents endless extra turns while remaining completely immune to damage and interaction. Flash enablers like Leyline of Anticipation and untappers such as Seedborn Muse and Drumbellower allow you to cast spells and activate abilities during opponents' upkeeps. As opponents burn through their libraries due to Timesifter exiles and draw steps, they inevitably deck out. Backup plans include locking the board with Roon flicker loops or overwhelming the table with tokens generated by Koma, Cosmos Serpent and Verdant Kraken.
