Deck overview

This Esper control/combo deck is helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, leveraging her end-step draw trigger when a player loses 4+ life and her damage/life gain on noncreature spells MV3+. The primary plan is to deploy value engines like Rhystic Study and Smothering Tithe, bury opponents in card advantage, control the board with an elite interaction suite, and eventually close out with incremental drain from Y'shtola, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Papalymo Totolymo, and a storm-finishing Aetherflux Reservoir. A small clone package (Irenicus's Vile Duplication, Multiversal Recruitment, Quantium Misalignment) can duplicate key pieces, and Displacer Kitten plus Hullbreaker Horrror generate rebuyable bounce.
