Deck overview

This mono-green deck utilizes Ayula, Queen Among Bears to convert cheap Bear and Changeling creatures into a continuous stream of board control and combat pressure. Casting Ayula on Turn 2 sets up an engine where every subsequent Bear either places two +1/+1 counters on a friendly Bear or fights an opposing creature. This allows the deck to dominate early creature combat while growing threats quickly. The deck transitions into the mid-game by deploying larger tribal payoffs and overrun effects such as Beorn the Fierce, Surrak and Goreclaw, and End-Raze Forerunners to eliminate opponents through wide combat attacks. While the deck possesses consistent early assembly and reliable creature suppression, its low land count of 31 lands and limited card draw leave it vulnerable to board sweepers and extended mana stalls. Success relies on early pressure, timely removal of key opposing commanders, and pushing through unblocked damage.
