Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Izzet spellslinger combo list led by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan focuses on deploying low-cost mana rocks and cantrips on the early turns, establishing Vivi Ornitier on Turn 3, and executing a lethal combo turn on Turn 4. The deck wins by generating infinite noncreature spell casts using Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, which triggers Vivi Ornitier to burn all three opponents to zero simultaneously. As a secondary win condition, Dualcaster Mage copying Twinflame creates infinite hasty attackers. Deep card velocity from cards like Archmage Emeritus, Tandem Lookout, and Ophidian Eye turns Vivi's multi-opponent damage triggers into massive hand replenishment. A dense suite of nine low-cost counterspells defends the combo turn against opposing interaction, while flexible burn and bounce spells handle problematic opposing permanents.
