Lightning army of one by Delaqua by Delaqua

Format: Commander

Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lightning, Army of One is a Boros voltron/equipment deck built to make its commander hit like a truck, then use Stagger and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to convert one big strike into lethal against the whole table. The primary plan is to tutor for Colossus Hammer or Sword of Feast and Famine, attach it with Sigarda's Aid, Hammer of Nazahn, or free equip from Puresteel Paladin, and close with doubled commander damage plus extra combats. Secondary paths use Spellbinder to copy extra-combat instants or Sword of Feast and Famine plus Aggravated Assault to loop combat phases. There is no double-faced commander; Lightning is a single-faced damage-doubling voltron piece, and Kediss acts as a hidden multiplayer payoff.
