Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Stompy list helmed by Ashaya's Enduring Bond, designed to leverage cascade and discover mechanics alongside an all-permanents shell. The game plan focuses on curving out low-cost legendary creatures and mana dorks on Turns 1 and 2 to satisfy the commander's legendary casting restriction. Once enabled, the deck repeatedly casts Ashaya's Enduring Bond to cheat mid-to-high-CMC permanents into play, scaling with commander tax on each iteration. The 99-card deck is packed with formidable Gruul beaters like Terror of the Peaks, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, supported by team-wide haste enablers. A single non-permanent spell, Primal Surge, offers an explosive late-game bomb capable of putting nearly the entire library onto the battlefield. While highly proactive and resilient to countermagic, the list intentionally eschews instant-speed interaction and stax, focusing entirely on overwhelming the table through combat and direct trigger damage.
