Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie Aristocrats and combo list helmed by Liliana, Heretical Healer // Liliana, Defiant Necromancer. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early Zombie creatures, establishing sacrifice outlets like Carrion Feeder, Warren Soultrader, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and flipping Liliana to generate continuous recursion and hand disruption. The deck quickly translates board presence into lethal pressure through two main avenues: the compact two-card infinite Magecraft combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog, and the classic Aristocrats loop of Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar and drain engines like Blood Artist or Plague Belcher. Supported by potent card advantage engines such as Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel, and Undead Augur, along with asymmetric denial tools like Opposition Agent and Grave Pact, the deck steadily dismantles opposing boards while assembling a decisive same-turn kill.
