Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Demon tribal strategy centered on Be'lakor, the Dark Master. The primary game plan is to develop mana through lands and mid-curve mana rocks across the early turns, establishing Be'lakor on turn 6 to draw cards and activate its Lord of Torment ETB burn ability. On subsequent turns, the deck casts high-power Demons such as Archfiend of Despair, Bloodthirster, and Lord of Change, triggering direct damage while attacking with large flying beaters. Damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and Roaming Throne escalate this damage into lethal table-wide bursts, while a kicked Rite of Replication offers an immediate 150-damage kill. The deck features punishing board deterrents like Painful Quandary and Archfiend of Depravity, but relies on tapping out each turn, making it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and single-target removal.
