Deck overview

This Boros deck is an Equipment Voltron build centered on Raiyuu, Storm's Edge. The game plan revolves around modifying a single Samurai or Warrior creature with powerful weapons, attacking alone to trigger Raiyuu's extra combat ability, and leveraging repeated attack steps to eliminate opponents with rapid commander damage. The deck features a dense package of equipment tutors, cost reducers, and auto-attach effects such as Stoneforge Mystic, Puresteel Paladin, and Hammer of Nazahn to accelerate deployment. Additional solo-attack enhancers like Sublime Archangel, Idolized, and Silent Arbiter ensure high damage output while naturally breaking combat symmetry. While the deck possesses strong single-target burst and solid proactive shielding via cards like Conqueror's Flail and Boros Charm, it relies on sequential combat phases over multiple turns to eliminate three opponents, making it susceptible to repeated board sweepers, mass artifact removal, and edict effects.
