Deck overview

This deck is a specialized mono-black artifact reanimator build led by Anrakyr the Traveller. The primary game plan revolves around loading the graveyard with high-impact artifact permanents using efficient entomb effects and self-mill, then utilizing Anrakyr's attack trigger to cast them for life rather than mana. Landing centerpiece artifacts such as Bolas's Citadel or Blightsteel Colossus on Turn 5 creates immediate, game-ending pressure. The deck supports this aggressive engine with powerful mono-black mana doublers like Cabal Coffers, asymmetric board sweepers like Their Name Is Death, and backup reanimation spells including Living Death and Lich-Knights' Conquest. While the deck has high explosive potential and resilient recovery paths, its main vulnerability lies in its reliance on the combat step and graveyard access, leaving windows for opposing spot removal and graveyard hate.
