DRAGON! by TsulKalu

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color Dragon deck plays a midrange-combo game built around The Ur-Dragon. The eminence discount lowers every Dragon spell, and Morophon, the Boundless acts as a hidden second commander, stacking cost reductions until the ten-mana dragon is essentially free. The main plan is to field many flying Dragons, trigger The Ur-Dragon's attack draw to put permanents into play, and finish with Atarka, World Render double strike, Old Gnawbone plus Hellkite Charger infinite combats, or a Kinnan/Basalt Monolith/Forsaken Monument infinite-mana dump. The deck protects its critical pieces with free counterspells while swarm tokens and Dragonstorm provide alternate reach.
