Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Horror tribal and exile-voltron strategy led by Umbris, Fear Manifest. The game plan revolves around exiling cards from opponents' libraries and graveyards to rapidly grow Umbris into a massive combat threat. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks like Dimir Signet and disruption pieces such as Dauthi Voidwalker and Ashiok, Dream Render. Once Umbris enters the battlefield on Turn 5, high-impact exile spells like Tasha's Hideous Laughter or successive Horror entries pump its power into the stratosphere. Protective equipment including Lightning Greaves and Whispersilk Cloak grants evasion and shroud, allowing Umbris to eliminate opponents one by one with lethal commander damage by Turn 8. If the commander is removed, backup threats like Captain N'ghathrod and Brainstealer Dragon keep the pressure high.
