Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis control build centered on Nicol Bolas, the Ravager and a heavy Bolas-themed planeswalker suite. Its primary game plan is to accelerate mana in the opening turns using efficient two-mana artifacts, deploy early hand-disruption pieces, and stabilize the board with efficient spot removal and sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Deadly Cover-Up. In the mid-to-late game, the deck establishes an oppressive attrition engine through planeswalkers such as Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God and Angrath, the Flame-Chained, continuously stripping opponents of cards in hand. It converts this card advantage into victory around Turn 7 by resolving game-ending bombs like Breach the Multiverse or transforming the commander into Nicol Bolas, the Arisen to reanimate the table's best threats. Win conditions are closed out across subsequent turns via heavy combat damage and life-drain enchantments.
