Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos spellslinger-burn deck helmed by Black Waltz No. 3, whose trigger - 2 damage to each opponent per noncreature spell - is the engine the entire list is built to feed. The plan is to deploy redundant "cast a noncreature spell, ping everyone" pieces (Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, Kuja, Genome Sorcerer), then amplify the damage with doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Wound Reflection. The deck wins through incremental reach plus a big X-spell finisher (Exsanguinate, Fireball, Drain Life, Soul Burn) or the Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir life-drain line. It is a mid-speed, value-oriented burn deck that wins through inevitability of damage rather than a fast combo.
