Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari kindred counters and aristocrats engine commanded by Blech, Loafing Pest. The strategy focuses on converting repeated lifegain triggers into +1/+1 counters distributed across Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. Early turns focus on accelerating mana and establishing lifegain permanents such as Essence Warden and Bogwater Lumaret. Once Blech is in play, every lifegain event expands the power and toughness of the kindred board. The deck leverages death triggers through cards like Blight Mound, Mirkwood Bats, and Blood Artist to ensure that opposing board wipes generate value or drain life totals. The primary route to victory combines wide trample attacks enabled by Blossoming Bogbeast, Duskshell Crawler, and Return of the Wildspeaker with direct aristocrat life drain.
