Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy led by The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell. It focuses on pairing cost reducers and mana rocks with incremental burn engines such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Coruscation Mage. The commander serves as early ramp for noncreature spells and later transforms into The Lord Master of Hell, whose Starfall trigger punishes opponents based on graveyard size. A dense suite of counterspells and burn removal keeps opposing threats in check while you assemble your board. The deck wins by chaining cheap cantrips into explosive burn turns, supercharged by Veyran, Voice of Duality or Mana Geyser, with a compact two-card infinite backup combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity.
