Deck overview

This Commander deck is an artifact midrange build piloted by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The deck maximizes artifact synergies by deploying cheap mana rocks, cost reducers, and multicolored artifact creatures like Baleful Strix, Mendicant Core, Guidelight, and Transguild Courier. When Karn enters the battlefield, it rewards this board presence with a massive card draw trigger that scales with the number of artifact colors you control. Once the hand is refilled and the board is established with Thopter tokens and artifact creatures, the deck shifts into lethal combat pressure. Win conditions such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Craterclaw Colossus, Akroma's Will, and Alibou, Ancient Witness transform everyday utility artifacts into a lethal, evasive strike force. The deck also features mass recursion via Wake the Past and end-step blink shielding through Nahiri's Resolve, giving it strong recovery against board wipes.
