Arcades - Defenders by Deelaun

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A Bant defender deck built around Arcades, the Strategist. The primary plan is to play a high-toughness wall board, use Arcades's draw trigger to chain into enablers, and turn that toughness into lethal attacks. Secondary paths include Loxodon Lifechanter and Towering Titan as single huge threats, plus the Axebane Guardian + High Alert mana loop. There is no double-faced commander and no hidden commander; Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa is a powerful supporting piece rather than a second commander. The deck wins primarily through one massive combat step rather than through a compact combo.
