Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheels and Group Slug build commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary strategy focuses on turning the fundamental game mechanic of card drawing into a lethal weapon. By establishing early mana acceleration through signets and talismans, the deck reliably deploys Nekusar or redundant punishers like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Underworld Dreams on Turns 4 to 5. Once established, it unleashes mass draw effects such as Reforge the Soul, Jace's Archivist, and Teferi's Puzzle Box to deal massive, non-combat damage to all three opponents simultaneously. The deck can also achieve rapid finishes by granting Nekusar infect through Phyresis or Glistening Oil. While the strategy creates severe table-wide pressure, giving opponents full hands of 7 cards carries inherent risk, and the absence of board sweepers leaves the deck vulnerable to fast aggro. Nevertheless, its dense redundancy ensures persistent threat generation.
