DeckCheck Threat Index: 30

Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck uses Lathliss, Dragon Queen to turn every nontoken Dragon into two massive flying threats. The deck builds mana early using efficient mana rocks, tribal shamans, and cost-reduction artifacts. By Turn 5, it deploys Lathliss and begins chaining large Dragons like Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and Scourge of Valkas, triggering a rapid accumulation of 5/5 flyer tokens and direct damage. The game closes out over Turns 6 through 8 via overwhelming aerial combat damage boosted by Lathliss's firebreathing ability. The list excels at maintaining pressure even through commander removal thanks to redundant bomb creatures, but it has limited stack interaction and minimal enchantment answers.
