Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Esper control and big-mana strategy built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan accelerates mana through efficient artifacts and rituals on early turns while setting up the top of the library using cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Ponder, Preordain, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter. On Turn 4, Yennett enters the battlefield and attacks on Turn 5 to trigger its free-casting ability on odd-mana bombs. Revealing threats such as Void Winnower, Expropriate, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Breach the Multiverse, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite generates massive resource disparity, locks opponents out of even-cost spells, and strips creature boards. The deck supports this game plan with efficient 1-mana spot removal and steady card advantage engines like Rhystic Study and Esper Sentinel, steadily overwhelming the table and closing out the game with evasive combat damage.
