Deck overview

This deck uses Ygra, Eater of All to turn every other creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact. By doing so, standard artifact-destruction spells like Creeping Corrosion, Fade from History, and Bane of Progress turn into brutal, one-sided board wipes that destroy all opposing creatures and mana rocks while leaving Ygra alive. Each destroyed Food puts two +1/+1 counters on Ygra, instantly growing it into a massive threat capable of eliminating opponents with commander damage. In addition to combat, the deck features a dense Food-aristocrats package with cards like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, and Cauldron Familiar to drain life totals whenever permanents leave the battlefield. With strong ramp, resilient ward protection on the commander, and heavy asymmetric control, the deck reliably establishes dominance on Turn 5 and closes the game by Turn 7.
