Persistence by TsulKalu

Format: Commander

Commander: Korvold, Fae-Cursed King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Korvold, Fae-Cursed King anchors a Jund aristocrats deck that turns sacrifice into card draw and commander growth. The primary plan is to assemble a persist loop-a sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer or Altar of Dementia plus a persist creature such as Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin-and supercharge it with +1/+1 counter-givers like Renata, Called to the Hunt or Arwen, Weaver of Hope. Each loop triggers Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, or Mayhem Devil to drain opponents, or mills them with Altar of Dementia. The hidden commander, Korvold, Gleeful Glutton, offers a big haste/trample backup, while ground-game and drain payoffs form secondary paths. The deck is highly redundant and resilient, but leans on a creature-wide board and has limited stack interaction.
