Deck overview

This deck leverages Winter, Misanthropic Guide at the helm of a Jund group slug and attrition strategy. Winter gives every player two additional cards on your upkeep, but enforces a brutal Delirium restriction that reduces opponents' maximum hand sizes based on your graveyard card diversity. Rather than letting opponents freely profit from extra cards, the deck punishes their draws with Fate Unraveler and Razorkin Needlehead, while forcing heavy discards at their cleanup step. Heavy-hitting enchantments like Painful Quandary and Court of Ambition extract steep life tolls whenever opponents attempt to cast spells or maintain a board state. Mid-range threats such as Archfiend of Ifnir and Massacre Wurm capitalize on discards and creature deaths to keep opposing boards clear. The strategy wins by bleeding the entire table out through cumulative passive damage and restricted resource recovery, typically closing games around Turn 9.
